http://www.nzma.org.nz/journal/116-1183/631/ Steroid-induced diverticulitis. Once again, sorry for getting borderline-offensive, TFK.
Oh, and in response to TFK's post in the other thread, I would just like to say the following: ************************************************* My bad, boss. Sorry. Please don't use the pimphand. :doh:
I honestly didn't think you ever crossed any lines Buddy. Especially after being insulted as much as you were. No worries, brother. You owned the thread:bears:
You did nothing wrong...except feed the troll. :: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FMEe7JqBgvg&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FMEe7JqBgvg&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
These are not the same type of steroids an athelete would take to gain any advantage. These are corticosteroids, which are basically anti-inflamatory steroids such as cortizone. They are NOT anabolic steroids, which are what guys use to "enhance performance" Still no connection between anabolic steroids and diverticulitis
:doh: What do you think these guys use to recover from injuries? Band-Aids and a peck on the cheek? His body has been getting put through the wringer for years. It happens with many professional athletes: fighters, football players, baseball players, etc.
I am aware of that, just don't try to make a connection to anabolic steriods or PED's. I'm just making sure people understand the difference. You know exactly what people are going to assume when it comes to Brock Lesnar and steroids.
