12 rounds. 130lbs. Nelson would not have been afraid of him and fought really brilliant fighters in his time. I think he's a real threat to Floyd.
I think Azumah gives him a good fight, for sure but I think Floyd would really drive him nuts with his speed and his defense... 8-4 type of fight
Tough call. Thinking of "prime" Floyd in his later days at 135 and at 140 I'd take him in a close but clear decision. But I don't know if I trust pre-Castillo Floyd against a collected constant pro like Nelson at 130. He seem to really get discouraged and doubtful in the fight without proper reason and I don't think he could handle the event Nelson would make it.
I'm with Cdogg. Nelson gives it a good go, but I don't see him beating Floyd at 130. Floyd 8-4ish sounds about right.
Floyd 8-4 or 9-3. I'm a huge professor Nelson fan though. Great fighter. Floyd was just a virtuoso like a Jones or a young Ali.
