How does the Professor handle the southpaw speed, skills, and defense of a guy like Shakur? Could Shakur possibly give him a similar boxing lesson as Pernell Whitaker or could Nelson be able to solve his style?
Prime Nelson wins. Cmmonnnnn man. I like Shakur and all, but two things are very obvious: 1. Shakur ain't Whitaker. 2. Nelson was several light years better than Valdez.
Nelson has shown that he can struggle with fighters with movement most notably against Calvin Grove, who was no Whitaker himself. Stevenson is superior to Grove. Probably better to wait and see how Stevenson's career pans out, he is the goods and it would be interesting to see how he does against someone like Nelson.
