Both Chacon and Lopez of their fight, and/or their fights with Olivares, vs Marquez of the early-mid 2000s. How does JMM get on?
I think Lopez gets countered silly and is stopped. Awful style match-up, but there'd be some great action. I think Bobby's unique, unorthodox brawler-boxer style and hefty natural talent gives Marquez plenty of issues. What stops him from winning is his mindset IMO - because he wouldn't just run all night and win on points. He'd mix it up, and enable both of their success. Marquez would do well in exchanges, and would control the fight at longer ranges. It'd be awesome at times and tactical at others, but I think Marquez wins. Bobby's a really underrated featherweight, IMO. He had good movement, fast hands, a biddable style, a great chin and a decent punch. He obviously beat a good fighter and great puncher in a prime Lopez, and gave Arguello real issues.
I'm not sure about Marquez over Little Red. I mean, probably, but I have my doubts that Marquez's chin holds up to the bombs Sanchez was able to handle. I dont think that fight is a foregone conclusion for Marquez at all.
Lopez had a different kind of power. Obviously, he wasn't as good as Pac, but his power was truly freak-ish.
