Starts off with a great fight, Joe Warren winning a decision against George Karakhanyan in what was probably the best fight of this season so far. Warren goes to the 145 lb finals. TFK
It was a good one, suprised me. Most of the fights I have seen Joe Warren in they were stinkers. Nice fight.
Warren has a ton of potential. He's strong as hell and his wrestling and takedowns are obviously top notch. His suplex of Karakhanyan was textbook. He's obviously been working on his submission defense, but is still relying too much on power over technique to escape them. If he can keep up his agression like he did last night, rather then just smothering his opponant, he can really make some noise at 145. Who knows, maybe a match with Aldo is down the road. TFK
that suplex was sweet, Greco Roman at its best. I agree with everything about Warren's potential. But in this stage of the game, I don't see him ever catching up to Aldo, he is just tons more well rounded than Warren.
