    carr fought at 147 and 154. the guy actually had some talent too. tackie at his best was slightly better than micky ward. i'd take carr on points.

    Tackie was pretty good at 135 and 140 where his power could make a difference. And he was much more durable there. At 147 or above, I can't see him hurting Carr and he's certainly not going to out-point him.

    Still, Tackie was always one of my favorites. He had some highlight reel knock-outs, even if the best one was against a former 130 pounder (Garcia).
