Less than a week away. Lemoo have any chance? I know one thing, if Benavidez wants to convince ppl he can take Canelo, then he better destroy Lemoo in one sided fashion.
Unless Benavidez is drained as fuck like Zurdo Ramirez was last night when he put on damn near 30 lbs after the weigh-in, he'd khtfko Lemoo
Will be watching this one live since is taking place in AZ. Benavidez should win this and make a huge statement.
More in line with I picked an opponent that will make me look good and I'm ready for the next big test.
How huge of a statement can he make its Lemieux for christ sake . I'm joking have fun it should be exciting while it last.
More and more I feel like Benavidez is gonna beat Canelo. Short of Canelo knocking him out, I dont see how the Ginger is gonna win. Benavidez is too long and active for the juiced up spurt fighter to outbox him. And 9/10 times, the young guy with something to prove is gonna have more fire down the stretch than the older guy who's been there for years. If I'm Canelo, I would either trilogy with Golov or fight Jermall. He would win both those fights. He should stay clear of Benavidez.
Canelo would batter Benavidez. Two completely different levels of fighter. Benavidez isn't Bivol, and he isn't close.
Benavidez has more than enough ability to do. Its his size and workrate that are really gonna be the issues for Nelo.
I doubt it. I don't see anything whatsoever in Benavidez that says he's on Canelo' or Bivol's level. If Canelo makes him gun-shy, which is extremely likely, that workrate is going out the window and size alone isn't beating Canelo, especially while potshotting. If Benavidez doesn't get gun-shy, he gets countered. A lot.
I never got the impression Canelo wanted that fight. Or at least his team. Benavidez provides stylistic problems for Canelo that could easily give him another L.
In spurts. But I don’t think Canelo can do it enough and with the necessary power to make Benavidez hesitant enough. And it’s not like he’s going to avoid Benavides’s shots either. Tough stylistic match up for Canelo, IMO.
The work rate had nothing to do with Canelo Losing to Bivol. I mean it was a little bit about the work rate. But I think it had more to do with Bivol being fundemantally a solid fighter with a tight defense and the perfect game plan. Benevidez blocks Punches with his face. It's a moot point because Canelo sees him as a high risk low reward. Atleast Charlo brings something more to the table. He's an undefeated champion.
