Does benn have a shot?

I think he has a decent shot early doors. But yes, he's a sizeable underdog

 

Yes, Benn has a shout, especially early. If people like Brewer can draw Calzaghe into a break, and stun him, Benn can very much hurt him.

But the most likely outcome is that Calzaghe weathers a storm and wins.

Benn didn't have the same kind of frightening power at 168 that he had at 160.

His chances against Joe are extremely slim.

 

True, but he still hit harder than most, and certainly as hard as some of the others who caused Joe problems.

Calzaghe was no defensive wizard and he could be led into a brawl. Lesser fighters than Benn did it.
