I think Hasegawa out-hustles Pinango on route to a close decision. It'd be an interesting fight, but I think Hasegawa was more talented and that speed edge lets him get off more.
Yeah, thinking about Hasegawa is the favorite here. The more talented technician and a bigger puncher. However, he didn't have the greatest chin, so Pinango does stand a chance.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I often liken Hozumi to that of Shibata, even though their styles aren't really similar at all. Both have excellent skills, very talented and fun to watch, but pretty poor chins. Although, Shibata is definitely a more heightened verison of that, given he was just as talented, if not more, and more skilled, but his chin was much worse.
