Who cares? I might go with Cooper, because he was more talented and more consistent, but Peter's big and fat, and that's good sometimes. The biggest fighter Cooper ever faced was Wayne Bethea, who was usually around 210 or 220 (Boxrec has Johnny Prescott listed as 260¼, but this is a typo). It's hard to compare sucky fighters because you never know which one's going to suck more.
:jester: Rubio just doesn't know that much about boxing. I think Peter takes punches well enough and delivers hard enough to overwhelm Cooper. Bert was the better boxer but the best he ever did was looking good in KO losses against guys who were not much bigger than him
I still don't see the point of this thread. Bert Cooper against Sam Peter? Cooper lost about 3/4 of his fights against fighters over 200 pounds.
