Not a bad fight...it'd be the first real important step up for Berto.

collazo wins imo. berto is no mosley. he lacks experience and his skills are rudimentary.

Where does this perception come from that Collazo is any good? Berto will bash him.

Collazo is not a bum, he is a decent fighter actually, but yes Berto wins.

I think Collazo is somewhat competitive though, I don't think it'll be a complete bashing.

agREED. Neither are any great shakes, but Collazo is as ordinary as they come. If not for MySpace and Facebook, he'd be completely irrelevant.

I think it comes from looking at who Berto has actually fought.

Collazo isn't great, but Berto has fought nobody.

    ???

i think most of his kudos comes from the performance against Hatton....but that was more down to Hatton not being so strong at 147 and being very careless defensively (...we saw an improvement vs Mallignaggi)

Collazo is solid, decent skills, decent speed.....Berto's own speed will be the key as he should be able to catch Collazo frequently enough.....i think it starts off fairly close, but beyond the half way point, Berto's power will start to take it's toll and slow Collazo down, maybe enough for a late KO

I don't know why people are acting like Collazo is some complete bum.

He's a solid fighter like adam said, fairly quick with some skill too.

Don't forget he's come closer to beating Hatton than anyone bar Floyd of course.

Collazo is a solid fighter, who lost to mosley in part because of a freak hand injury. I think he will step it up against Berto and will win a close fight. He's too crafty for Berto.

Collazo doest pack a punch. Berto's career has been guided well and he will continue to avoid punchers for a while.

I'm probably the biggest collazo fan here, but i don't see it.

collazo's credibility is based 100% on his performance against Hatton.

still i think he's much more crafty than pot-shotting berto.

It's certainly not based on his performance against Cassiani...or Mosley.

He's a solid opponent for Berto...though by no means should he be a mandatory.

Of course, Berto-Rodriguez shouldn't have been for a mandatory slot, or the vacant title, either.

Exactly. Hopefully after Berto wins, he fights the winner of Clottey-Cintron.
