Best puncher and biggest puncher are two different things. I made that mistake too, and should have clarified in my threads. I think most people would agree that Joe Louis is the "best" puncher in the boxing history.
Best is definitely different to hardest, I think for best, it's a tie between Louis and Robinson. For hardest, Jackson, Sheppard and Shavers are the top three IMO.
A few Ricans truly can be considered Americans. Like Camacho, Ortiz, and Benitez... those guys were New Yorkers. Gomez, Trinidad, Rosario, Cotto, ect., those are legit Island-based Ricans.
You mean in the thread I made yesterday? I didn't wanna convolute things, so I just asked among any fighter of Mexican descent. But Mexico is completely different than PR, as it's a separate country, whereas PR is a US territory.
That's my point! If you have a separate category for Puerto Ricans, and you're lumping Mexican Americans in with all fighters from Mexico (a separate country), it makes no sense to not lump Puerto Rican fighters in the U.S. in with all fighters in Puerto Rico. I don't think the differences in sovereignty between countries and territories is really pertinent when talking about fighters.
