I fully believe that the version of Chang who thrashes Zapata was a whole level above the other top 108ers. So up at flyweight, who do you think he can topple? The obvious choice is Miguel Canto; given El Maestro's one-sided loss to the lesser, and bigger bitch version of Chang in Park - and that stylistically, a pure boxer with no pop is exactly what Chang likes. Pick someone else, muthafucker. Hilario Zapata II German Torres I
I'd pick him to beat Canto and Arbachakov. I used to think Too Sharp, but honestly, Mark was probably too big and with too much power for Chang at 112.
I agree, Too Sharp would stop Chang. But that's not really a negative, since Too Sharp is a beast and the more I think of it, probably one of the very best flyweights ever, head-to-head. I enjoy his style, too. I think Yuri would win, though. Too big, too heavy handed and very skilled. I think he'd knock Chang out. I think Chang has a fair chance vs Laciar (I know I thought otherwise the other week, but...), I think his versatility and speed advantage, as well as having the offense to rival Santos and trade with him up close. It'd be a great fight. I'd also take him over Oguma and Gonzalez. Obviously he already beat Chitalada and Zapata. Choco and Pong could be interesting, although if take Chang vs either of them.
I'm not a huge believer in Arbachakov. I get the feeling he was missing something. I think Chang's speed, pressure, and stamina makes Yuri come undone. Chang was just much better than Arbachakov, and I dont think 4 pounds is enough to change that.
