I liked the Baby Bull, but the answer is Hatton and it's not even close.

He had just two losses both of which were against ATG fighters for fucks sake. His win over Tszyu shits on anything Diaz ever did in the ring.

There really isn't this much of a need to establish that Hatton is better than Diaz, everyone already knows that. Rjjp4pno1 is normally a good poster who knows his shit, he just obviously has some serious Hatton hate going on.

When i say that Juan Diaz is better than Pernell Whittaker or Marco Antonio Barrera then you can get offended. Hatton really has a lot of people fooled.

Apart from beating Kostya Zoo they have almost the same careers. Both lost to the best fighters that they fought and both beat a couple of very good fighters.

Diaz usually threw 100+ punches per round. So he had better cardio, better combos and more speed. Both had average defence, average chins but Hatton had more power. Neither guy had success when they went up in weight and competition. Yet on here Hatton is seen as an extremely good fighter and Diaz is seen as a bum who got lucky.

Please explain to me what i have missed without resorting to personal insults.

He beat 1 inactive very good fighter in Zoo. That doesn't automatically mean his career was better or he was a more talented fighter.

Diaz lost when he moved up in weight and was coming off the brutal war with JMM when he fought Paulie. Again it's similar to Hatton going up in weight and looking shitty although he was undefeated when he did it.

 

Well Juan did much better with the 1 great fighter that he fought in JMM than Hatton did with the 2 that he did in Manny and Floyd.

Diaz fought Paulie coming off a brutal KO loss to JMM. After Hatton got brutally KO'd by Manny he never fought again.
