Just crushed Adamek in 2 Those that guy has any potential? He's huge, fearless, and relatively fast. Doesn't seems to hit that hard though, and his D seems to be lacking
Adamek was 90lbs lighter and is 41 years of fucking age??? I mean...........why not show us a clip of Miller beating up his spouse and ask us if the guy can go far. Just watched the Adamek fight...........Miller needs to improve a lot. Has potential.
The first sentence of Irish's post sums it up. Adamek was outweighed by 100 pounds, is a natural lightheavy, and is in his 40s. Miller is a fat, loud mouth bum.
Yes, yes....I can see it now: Anthony ´AJ´ Joshua vs Jarrell ´Big Baby´ Miller Wembley Stadium, April 13th 2019 Hmmmm...yes, yes....
Oh, I meant the casuals over here. It'll be given the whole "loud-mouth Yank talks shit to OUR AJ" angle. Trust me that kind of shit sells to these morons, Eddie knows what he's doing.
"He's a big dangerous American. I know Adamek, he is indestructible, he went 10 round with Vitali only 5 months ago, but Miller made him look like nothing. He's a threat to AJ, I am very nervous, I shouldn't have made this fight, really, but the fans demanded it, and I had to give in to them, and AJ only wants to fight the best"- Eddie Hearn.
Miller looked good once he got going and crushed Dinu in 4 last saturday. It's obvious he has a certain potential as he is pretty fluid and seems to have a good cardio for such a big guy. Still, it's quite worrying to see a 30 y.o. prospect still fighting this level of opposition, kind of like his team is simply trying to build an hype job and cash him out (and yes, I know about his kick boxing career)
What's impressive about Miller is that he seems completely unaffected by the punches of his opponents. And he's also a huge strong guy so he can apply tremendous pressure, and he has incredible stamina for a guy his size. Still, he has a lot of flaws that make me think he will fail at the elite level.
What makes Miller a dangerous opponent is his toughness and ability to take punches and keep coming forward, but other than that, there isn't a great deal of talent there. He gets hit far too much, his footwork isn't particularly impressive and he's not that fast. His aim is to hunt you down and try to beat the hell out of you, but I think he'll get found out when he steps up. Dinu was actually boxing OK in spells, landing his jab and right hands, and even managed to buzz Miller somewhat late in the 1st, but obviously he's of a certain level so he couldn't sustain it and keep Miller off of him. Could Miller be next for AJ? Yeah, but all he really brings to the table is a big mouth. I suppose I do agree with Slice in that Eddie could easily sell the fight due to that fact and casuals would lap it up. I'd like to see it.
You know it cracks me up, if some 30 year old novice that looks like this showed up during Wlad's reign he would have been fucking slated for fighting him.
Poor Wlad. It's true that he was fighting much better opponents, like small ass Chagaev and Sultan, or slow as molasse Peter
Todays guys are making a bit of noise but this is not the class of 1972, or 1982, or 1992, it's more the class of right now, which is average enough. It's fun times, it's exciting times, but that's all.
