Ward...bum ass Pazienza....when is the Gatti movie coming out....?

What are they going to highlight in this movie?? All his defeats?? Roger Mayweather...Haugen...Camacho...etc...or are they going to concentrate on his broken neck,,,

It was alright. It starts off showing him struggling to make weight to fight Mayweather, and shows him getting beat. Then it gives the impression that he immediately jumps from 140 to 154 to fight Dele, rather than it being 3 years and several fights later.

Then it goes into the car crash, him recovering, and fighting Duran, and having the Duran fight appear to be a classic brawl.

Miles Teller with his ever-punchable face did a pretty good job doing the Paz voice, the fight scenes were alright. Much better than the fight scenes in The Fighter for example.

Other than him having different girlfriends and implying he’s a player, it doesn’t go into Paz being a wild character. There’s even one scene where Paz says “I never drink or take drugs”, which certainly doesn’t sound like Paz.

    6/10

Arrest warrant issued for former champ Paz

That fight was a total travesty. Jones gets zero credit in my eyes for this mismatch.

About as interesting, eventful and relevant as a documentary about Queensryche.

Don’t take it out on Jones. Unless he was fronting I recall RJJ not wanting to fight Pazienza because Roy knew it would be an easy mismatch, even by his standards.

I think Paz was his mandatory plus Paz was winning pretty regularly and had a decent following at the time so it was probably a decent money maker. Hell, I was pretty much a Paz fan myself during this period of his reign and embarrassingly, I have to admit I was pulling for Paz in the Jones fight.

Haven't seen it and I have no interest in seeing it. I haven't seen Hands of Stone either.

    Love boxing.... hate boxing movies.

I guess this movie is watchable as a 5/10 rating if in the mood to watch a boxing movie ...surprisingly has some name actors in it
