What a bum...Hopkins was there to be taken and he couldn't capitalise on a Hopkins who could hardly hold his hands up for the last 6 rounds...Bernard was DEAD, he is an old fighter and Calzaghe couldn't touch him. Disgraceful "win" for the welsh BUM. Joe would get ANNIHILATED by Pavlik and Tarver would stop him too. This slapping fag is an embarassment to the sport.

Perhaps Tarver's own magnificent showing against Hopkins encourages him to trash Calzaghe:clap:

Also this fight proved that a younger Hopkins would have toyed with the girly "champ" from wales. I was embarassed watching this fag trying to slap a 43 year old dehabilitated Hopkins.

Tarver was obviously affected by his weight loss and Hopkins obviously wasn't as old and finished as he was last night.

I'm ok with the fact that I picked Nard, because Hopkins proved that a mildley younger version of him would toy with the slapping fag from Wales...I have never been more embarassed for boxing as i was yesterday. Hopkins couldn't even hold up his hands and this alleged p4p fighter couldn't even slap him...Calzaghe should go back to that shitty town in Wales and never come back, he SUCKS

Well, since Hopkins has never really been beat up in a fight, or stopped since his first professional fight I can't blame Calzaghe. You have to give Hopkins credit and that he is very difficult to hit clean in the first place.

Joe was not going to get a stoppage win on Hopkins with those slaps he was throwing.

I had this fight a draw personally. Joe was the stronger fighter in the 12th and I thought he lost the 10th and 11th.

I agree...with the two point round for Hops i had it a draw too, but thats besides the point...Hopkins was there for the taking. He couldn't even hold his hands up! Joe was a disgrace, Pavlik would destroy him.

Bullshit if he was there for the taking. Bernard was a gamer last night. He is just an awkward fighter that Joe had to work around. Couldn't keep his hands up??? Arre you kidding me?? He may have faded bit at the end, but no way in hell was he there for the taking. Did you just start watching boxing??

If you are impressed with that slappy fag Calzaghe then theres no hope for you. Joe SUCKS, Hopkins was DEAD after 6 rounds and Calslappy still couldn't even HIT him let alone punish him. And some people call this BUM a p4p'er? Disgraceful.

    The typical Calzaghe hater history:

"He's going to get beaten to death by Lacy you just watch! This is a mismatch!"

"Oh, well, Kessler will hammer him. Just wait and see, Kessler's too much for this guy."

"Uh, there's no way he can beat an old, crafty veteran like BHop. Easy work for Bernard. Just wait and see. Joe's in way over his head here."

    "Uh, well, um. He's a BUM! Yeah, that's it! He's a BUM!"

    :shit:

I'm not sure whether Berry stain has only jus started watching boxing, but it seems like it.

He thinks that irish bum Lee is better than Calzaghe.

It's bitterness about not being able to predict fights for shit.

Remember Double L and his love for JL Castillo and his HATE for Hatton.

Then Hatton fights his favorite fighter and wipes his arse with him in under 4 rounds. You think he'd have to shut the fuck up and deal with it. Oh, no. The haters will always find something to say.

It's more that im disappointed that Joe couldn't take out a lame duck. My extimation of Calzaghe, which was high before this bout dropped 10 fold.

How many times have you seen Bernard seriously hurt in his entire career? Calazghe has never been a big puncher. This fight was all but guranteed to go the distance.

If Hopkins were to fight Diaconu or Dawson next he might lose, but he'd still go the distance.

Yeah but this version of Bernard was there to be taken. He had NOTHING on his punches after 6 rounds, his arms were dead and Joe flailed around wildely missing by a mile...It was pathetic. Dawson and Dianco aren't p4p'ers and alleged "legends". I didn't even want Calzaghe to stop him, how about just hit him?

Well you do don't you? You think Lee is a good fighter, yet you call Calzaghe a bum, therefore you must think Lee is the better fighter.

I like Pavlik a lot, he's quickly shot up to being one of my favourite fighters, and I would like to see him beat Calzaghe, but he wouldn't.

It looks like Calzaghe is either going to fight Pavlik or Roy next.

Do you want to bet on either of them with me, if you think Calzaghe is a bum, it should be easy money?

    I'm 26, how old are you? 10? 11?

    It's a perfectly logical assumption.

You think Lee is a good fighter, you've said this in the past, and you think Calzaghe is a bum.

Is a bum better than a good fighter in your eyes?

So do you want to make a bet with me, I'll take Joe over either prospective opponent. Yes?

i'll take that bet...but the first bet should be calslappy will NEVER sign to fight Pavlk because he knows whats up. He'll go after shot ass RJ and land 200 slaps and stay undefeated

Did you not hear him say in an interview with that small guy sometime before the fight that he wants to fight Pavlik?

He seemed pretty serious about it too, and praised pavlik.

I would imagine yes that he'll go after Roy first, more money, less risk - but if for some reason that fight doesn't get made, it's probably going to be Pavlik.
