Eddie was inconsistent, but when he was on... he was a beast and talented as hell. Great countering skills, fast hands, and booming power in either hand. He was James Toney w/a bigger punch. On the night he destroyed Marvin Johnson, could Calzaghe beat him? Joe could possibly outwork him, but on the other hand Joe's workrate would leave plenty of openings for Eddie to counter him, and Eddie hit ALOT harder than Hopkins, and a 40 year old Roy. I think the Marvin Johnson version of Eddie stops Joe within 10. Joe probably outworks any other version of Eddie.
Assuming Muhammad didn't have trouble making 175, he wins by late stoppage against Calzaghe. A lazy weight-drained version of Muhammad winds up somehow getting out-jazzercised
