Fights that were exciting but tragic like Benn-McClellan, Quiroga-Anifowoshe, Eubank-Watson 2, or even Mancini-Kim (which I have never seen and never want to)???

Or do you find it too hard to re-watch?

If the tragedy itself doesn't happen within the ring, i can. By that i mean, i don't want to watch a fight where a guy is left lifeless on the canvas and has to be rushed into an emergency room immediately.

i tend not to. i've seen all those fights at least once but unlike other fights i don't enjoy rewatching them. sometimes, though, i'll watch and just turn it off before the end.

Double, have you ever rewatched PBF-ODLH, or Hatton-Castillo?

actually, i've watched PBF/ODH many times over - it's fun to watch PBF be clueless when it comes to ODH's jab, watch him hit gloves for 10 rounds, and take punishment against the ropes...

In Ireland, if a guy is left lifeless, he is brought to a morgue. Slowly.

And despite all of that, ODLH still lost? How do you explain that, Double?
Also, Double, who do you pick in ODLH-PBF rematch?

he barely lost. and PBF's fast hands will always impress the judges, so it's hard to get a decision against him, even if you beat him (see Castillo/PBF I).

but to answer your question, my guess is, ODH will put on an exciting show against Forbes because he's no threat (shame on ODH for picking a guy so small and with no power), and then will feel justified in boxing PBF from a distance, using his jab, and will beat him easy by decision. Whether or not he gets the nod is another story.

ODH can't fight for real anymore. He needs a slow pace. And that's why the only guys we'll see him face anymore will be under-sized guys against whom he can control the pace (like he did against PBF).

Yes: Benn McClellan is one of my favourite fights of all time, and I re-watch it quite often...

Thanks, Double. How much do you think I should bet on PBF's victory?

    Of course.
Benn - McClellan: never get tired of watching it. :bears:
Eubnak - Watson II: indifferent to two fighters I've never rated so there's no point. :dunno:

Never watched Mancini - Kim....I must remember to get it.
