Alvarez knocked out a tall guy with a good straight right hand so he probably does the same to Hearns imo.

Sly would watch a film of Alvarez/Cintron and then watch Hagler/Hearns and say "If ya'll knew boxing like I know boxing and weren't just historians, you would be able to break down the match properly and realize that Hearns has no chin and Alvarez punches too hard... STYLES"

But seriously...... nobody would ever hear of Alvarez if he was around in the early 80's.

He'd probably be just a name on Tony Ayala's resume that Ayala destroyed on the way up.

He'd be known, just not outside of Mexico.

    Forget the 70s or 80s.

I don't think he would have beaten any of the top 154 pounders in the 90s or early 200s.

Norris, Trinidad, Jackson, De La Hoya, Vargas, all kick the crap out him.

Hearns would put Canelo in a pine box.

    Norris, Trinidad, DLH, Vargas???????????

Canelo would likely lose to a prime Yory Boy.

^^^^^Not if Yory Boy quit after tasting some powershots from Canelo. I think thats a possible scenario.

We should make Canelo vs Thiam, now. Lol

Hearns would hit Canelo with a massive right hand and Canelo would turtle up
