The first two fights were decent to good. The second was a real action fight. I get that golovkin is old and inactive but he isn't shot. Is still skilled, tough and can punch. Not trying to convince you to order it, but it's puzzling to me how any boxing fan would prefer Davis Romero to this fight.

On top of that the Davis undercard is horse shit. Chief support is Lara vs that osullivan scrub :Cry111:

You've known me long enough to know that I'm rarely excited for trilogies.

Hell, a lot of times I'm not even hyped for rematches.

First fights always excite me the most.

Davis-Romero is gonna end in a knockout either way. That, the crowd is gonna be more electric than the Canelo-Golov III crowd.

I would never pretend that Davis and Rolly are on the level of Canelo and Golov, but sometimes status isn't enough.

I wasn't overly crazy about the first two fights. They were okay... neither were memorable imo.

I wanna see Tank in with a top 5 guy also.

Hopefully after Haney beats Kam, we see it.

I dont think Haney would have an issue taking the fight. But I question if Tank really wants to be great.

I think he just enjoys being a star.

Yeah, I really don't see what chance G has.

He's not shot. Shot is when a guy has declined far enough to lose to a scrub. G isn't at that point; however, he's at the point where he can't beat a fighter as good as Ginger.

Let's be real... Benavidez is the only guy below 175 capable of beating Nelo.

Damage control by Canelo and his team. He’s coming off a one sided loss, he’s ducking Benavides, and they need something to make people forget it.

After this Canelo fans will be once again screaming that Canelo is pound 4 pound number 1.

Eh not too crazy for it. 3rd fight came in too little too late, although I guess if there's a need of some closure. This fight is really just gonna show how much these 2 have left: how old has GGG has gotten and how much did the Bivol schooling has mentally impacted Canelo.

I would love to see GGG actually pull this off and finally get an official win over Canelo, hoping that happens.

    Exactly this. Exactly this.

This is the opening of a backdoor to let the stink out after he shit his trousers last time out.

    It's a huge smokescreen.

And you know what? People will buy it, literally and metaphorically.

I don't think Canelo is ducking Benavidez per say.

Pussy ass Charlo sure is though. It's clear Jermall is just sitting back saying, "Pick me! Pick me, Canelo!"

Benavidez fucked up with the coke and the weight issues, but at least now he's trying to put it right. He's not just waiting on Canelo. He's saying if not Nelo, cool, gimme Charlo. If not Charlo, gimme Plant.

Jermall just wants to fight bum after bum until Canelo says, "Okay Charlo, your turn for payyyydaaayyy."

While it's mostly true, this is a bit harsh too as Canelo is coming off a loss and that's a pretty interesting rebound fight. Benavidez is the best at 168 lbs imo but he needs to get a marquee fight soon to prove it.

This is one of those fights that will always be good stylistically but never great because each can absorb the other's power.

Is this rivalry one of the better examples of power and chin vs. power and chin?

I'm not too excited about this fight. A little too late. But I can't get mad at Canelo for not jumping right in to the rematch. It's a a good move and a winnable fight for Canelo.

    Couldn't give a fuck about Canelo-GGG III.

It's definitely more interesting than Davis vs Rolly; but I don't care about either.

I'll watch. I won't pay. And I'll bet on Canelo beating him. Headlines will all be about his "legacy cemented, 190lbs was just a bridge too far" etc

His scary ass probably thought Benavidez was hiding backstage. That's why he sat up and started lookin around.

No, GGG isn't shot but he hasn't been taking one to give one for a while. He gets hit a whole lot because he doesn't have the ability to avoid the return fire. To make things worse for him the snap on his punches is waning too.

Beyond dubious decisions Canelo is still in his prime and Golov aint. Alvarez shouldn't need any "help" this time around.

Canelo is 0-2 against GGG in my eyes, but yeah I think he gets his first legitimate win this time around.
