We often hear lesser fighters comparisons as "poor man's versions" of better ones if on the surface have a similar approach or style. Nigel Benn was a rich man's version of Kirkland with his trainer's hairstyle.
That's like a huge understatement. Kirkland was plain and simple a horrible fighter. Benn's one of the most murderous punchers in the history of 160. Rich man's is an understatement.
