This one’s interesting to me. I get that Norris chin and tendency to do dumb shit could get him either KO’d or DQ’d, but Terry is just so much more talented. If he can fight the way he did in the rematch vs Brown, I could see him winning a UD without too much fuss. Plus, Canelo hadn’t yet hit his peak at 154.
Its a very hard match to predict. Norris was a much better 154 fighter, but he had low ring iq, and a pretty average, if not bad, chin. I could see him doing a dumb Mistake and getting koed. Still, his speed and skills are way above canelo, so id make him a favorite
IF Nelo caught Norris with the same right cross he caught Khan with, Terry could go. Thing is, was Terry 30,000x better than Khan, with way more firepower. If we can use the best versions of Norris, eg the Leonard fight and Brown II, I would take him by UD.
Canelo turned out to be better, but at 154 he was still developing and thus Norris would be the favorite
Norris outboxes the pup version of Canelo, but there’s always a chance that he’ll get careless and hit with a big punch that can possibly put him down.
