Margarito wins in a fight where the audience would actually stay in the arena until the end

    Based on what?

They're both pretty tough durable guys, and slow. Baldomir is however, slower, shorter, and not as rangy. Nor is he as active with hands. Margarito lets his hands go in combination and has a terrific workrate, Baldomir does not.

Baldomir may be tougher to hit because of his awkwardness, and his right hand is straighter, but is that enough to beat up Margarito? What other advantages does Baldomir have?

Margarito would've served him a beating had Baldomir shown up to fight in AC. Instead, he had his countryman Lujan sacrifice his right ear.

Baldomir might be the only "elite" opponent that Margarito could actually out-box
