    I think Joe would have just outsped and outworked him.


    One thing about Calzaghe when he gets hurt, he fights back. He may look incorrect in how he slaps with his shots, but he had more heart and toughness than Dawson and it would have showed.

    Not very long ago I was roundly mocked for suggesting round these parts that Calzaghe was markedly faster than Dawson and would have outhustled him handily enough. Of course, it turns out that Dawson isn't all that fast at all, unless he's fighting 30-odd year olds, and even little ol' Jean Pascal could out-speed him plenty.

    The same Pascal who went life and death with Froch, a supposed sloth...:laughing:

    Anyway, I still think Calzaghe outhustles Chad and wins a handy UD.
