Changing my pick on Cotto-Mosley!

I'm now going with Cotto. This is very rare. Usually when I make a prediction I stick to it, but in this rare case Ive had a change of heart. I think Cotto wins by UD. The steriod distraction, coupled with age IMO will be Shane's undoing in this fight. Expect him to build a lead, then slow down, and tire, and for Cotto to take over. But despite this changed prediction, I STILL woulnt be at all surprised if Shane stops him, esp early when Cotto is vunerable. If anyone gets stopped in this fight it'll be Cotto, and not Shane, but I think Cotto will win a decision.

 

Cotto will dispose of Mosley, setting up a super-fight with Mayweather in 2009.

what steroids distraction? this was already brought up soon after he fought oscar in a rematch. granted he lost both fights against wright, but it had nothing to do w/ shane being distracted. plus, no one gives a shit about boxers doing roids unless they get caught by the commission.

But....I don't blame you. I'm on the fence also. It's that kind of fight. I've changed my mind at least three times so far since this fight was announced.

I could see Shane stopping Cotto in the first 5 rounds as well, but the more likely scenario for me is that Cotto (who's not as easy to hit as you would think) avoids any serious punishment and works Shane over for a late stoppage.

You must have changed your mind all 3 times to Cotto. Can you even post a link where you not only picked Shane against Cotto, but against any fighter, ever?

Doesn't matter though, you and Xplosive can change your minds this way or that. Mosley still wins this fight big and I'm not saying that because I'm a fan but because I've thouroughly broken down the styles, advantages and what nots. Shane beats him, no doubt in my mind.

Yeah, you really have to go with Cotto. Tough fight to call. I wouldn't be shocked to see either win by decision, or either win by KO. Anything can happen.

 

Indeed. It's definitely one of those types of fights which is why it's such an exciting prospect. It's not the type of fight you bet alot of money on.

I think Cotto is a very good fighter, and I don't think Shane has as much left as a lot of others do.

I pick Cotto by UD 12.

 

Which is it? Tough fight to call and one which it wouldn't be a shock to see either win because anything can happen or a fight in which you have to go with Cotto. :dunno:
