Note the word updates doesn't mean Round by Round.

Clark hurts his hand with the first punch he throws. After 90 seconds the ref takes Clark to the Doctor who asks Clark if he wants to continue and he doesn't.

Alvarado barely got off a punch and gets himself a 1 round TKO victory.

So far after 11 rounds i got it 8-3 for Calderon. 107-102.

It may be closer on the cards because Esquer is coming forward and the crowd goes crazy everytime he throws.

Esquer won the last round it could be close on the official scorecards. Calderon did nothing in the last round.

I got it 116-112 for Calderon.

Arce lands a body shot and down goes Sangsurat. Sangsurat gets up then squats down in pain and the ref stops the fight.

Sanchez landed and threw more in round 1. Chavez is in a feeling out process.

    Round 1 to Sanchez.

Round 2 is fought at a much faster pace. Both guys come out swinging. Sanchez landed more but Chavez hurt him at the end of the round.

    I got it 19-19.

Round 3 is another great round. Sanchez is throwing and landing more but Chavez is landing the bigger more damaging punches.

I got it 29-28 for Chavez.

Sanchez was impressive in round 4. He kept the fight at range and landed combos. Chavez landed some good punches at the end of the round but Sanchez already won the round.

    38-38

Round 5 is one of the rounds of the year. Sanchez stands flat footed and they trade. Chavez harder punches but Sanchez landed more. For the last 30 seconds they just traded bombs.

    Sanchez 48-47

In round 6 Chavez lands a huge right hand that hurts Sanchez. He backs up into the ropes and Chavez hammers him with a brutal combination. Sanchez goes down and doesn't get up.

The winner by KO in round number 6

    Julion Cesar Chavez Jr

Sanchez too small too weak. Chavez Jr is fighting smaller men, how much weight is he draining to make this weight class?

 Amazing! Julio Cesar Chavez Jr just won an exciting fight and there's only 4 members on here and nobody seems to give a crap.

Exciting is underselling it - the fight was easily one of the 10 best fights this year, which is saying something considering how many great fights we've had in 2007. Chavez Jr. proved a lot tonight. Like it or not, he's a future star at whatever decision he decides to make his run.

RJJ, you and I were only one round off on Calderon-Esquer (I had it 117-111) and one off on JCC-Sanchez (I scored the 5th for Chavez, but a close and GREAT round). Sanchez was up on two of the three cards at the time of the stoppage.

By the looks of it, yes he's got a career ahead of him. Seems he's big for his class though and no hard hitting jr middles have stepped up to him.
