Prior to signing to face Alfonso Sanchez, Ward had been scheduled to face Chavez. But Chavez got injured and the fight was cancelled. If that fight had gone forward, how do you see it playing out?
While Chavez was done, probably not done enough at that point in time. Due to Ward's skill set and style i don't think he beats faded Julio but it would have been an entertaining fight.
Agree. This is especially obvious after watching his fight with Sanchez which happened right around the same time this fight was originally scheduled.
Probably chavez, but he was not far from spent at that time, so a ward victory wouldn't be terribly surprising
