Canelo. Eubank is overrated as hell. Having a close fightan arguable win over GGG is miles better than what eubank did (beating a green benn and a hail mary ko against watson) And eubank benefited of friendly judges even more than canelo
And Canelo's not?????? Eubank had the style to beat Canelo, and I feel the Eubank of the first Benn fight was a better fighter than Canelo. But Eubank actually getting the decision is doubtful. Ya gotta shoot that Ginger bastard dead just to lose a split decision.
As i said, eubank robbed more people than canelo did. And after the ggg fights, i think the canelo is overrated tune is played out
Canelo lost 10-2 to Floyd and got a majority decision. That's all you need to know about how favorable he is to judges. If you look at it stylewise, Canelo is a counterpuncher, and Eubank's awkward style would give him a lot of problems. Eubank is the more athletic of the two here, with much quicker feet, and he had sneaky enough power to keep Ginger honest.
At least canelo needs friendly judges to get past elite fighters. Eubank needed some home cooking to beat euro level fighters and bums
To Canelo's credit, I think he's a better thinker in there. Eubank had physical talent, but the guy was truly daft as fuck in the ring.
