It will be shown on one of the other major websites live Saturday for folks living in the U.S.
This has the potential to be an explosive slugfest between two undfeated, very hard punchers.
It will probably boil down as to who can take the better punch between the two as neither has really faced any world class oppostion as of yet.
Any picks for this fan friendly fight?

I've only seen one Chris Henry fight, but nothing of Diaconu.

What kind of style does he have?

Diaconu is a puncher, very aggressive and very strong.
He makes a couple of moves coming in and that's about it.
He is a swing for the fences type of fighter.

If that's the case, on paper it would almost certainly be a war.

I'm the opposite of whiskey, I've seen Diaconu fight but not Henry:lol:

I'll be tuning in because Diaconu has an entertaining style.

Should be a good match up. Two undefeated guys with some pop.

Henry is the bigger guy, so I'll take the easy route and pick him.

I hope I can watch it somewhere.

But, Karl, what's with the WBC 'Interim' Title? Is the WBC expecting to strip Dawson or something?

    :dunno:

Maybe they will give the belt to Glen Johnson?

I've never seen Henry fight either but Diaconnu is a very entertaining fighter and he has pretty good power. He's pretty limited though so he can be outboxed. He seems durable enough too. I wish I had seen Henry fight so I could make a prediction.

Dawson took the fight with Johnson who is not top rated by the WBC rather than meeting Diaconu who had pulled out of their fight last year with an injury, and Adrian is the number one contender.
I don't think Chad will fight the winner, he is going to fight Antonio next for big money, certainly much bigger money than he'd get for fighting the winner of Saturday's fight, and as Tam Tam pointed out, he most likely will head south after that, so the fight Saturday will be for the WBC Title, and I'd pick either guy over Chad who lost that fight Saturday night regardless of what the officials thought.

I think Karl posted video of the Derrick James fight somewhere..

Here are two of his fights, the Heyman one is where he picked up the NABF belt. Notice Eddie Mustafa Muhamed in Heyman's corner..

Oh and there's also a free video interview I did with Chris last Wednesday up on BoxingScene.com

Shark has big one punch power for LHW. I worked with him for this fight 2mths. He's ready! Great body shot cobos. Stocks well. He fights like young Rocky w/ a Smoking Joe lt. Hook mixed in. To beat him you've got to have legs and fight in spots. Get into a fire fight w/ him and unless you're willing to walk through hell you'll lose. Henry is a banger away from home. If he play's the catch and counter game he could pull in out. Diaconu TKO 7.:blobbox:

Oates, Does he hit harder than Danny Green? If so, which punches are stronger, for example I cant imagine Diaconu having a more powerful jab than Danny, but hooks etc?..

Maybe Oates, but Adrian has never fought anyone that can hit anywhere near as hard as Chris can.
Chris has never fought anyone that can hit like Adrian as well, so this is going to be a firefight, and the guy that takes the better punch will pull it out.

Diaconu strikes harder than Danny. Danny has consistant power and a laser jab, but Adrian can knock down a wall w/ his hook. His body hooks will take a toll if you're a flat footed guy. I think Rico Hoye is a credicted win and a guy that can crack a lil; but never got a chance. Chris better move his head. I could feel the power through the glove.
