    From the DeGale facebook:

    "Good News coming soon......."

I know they were in discussions with Adam Booth regarding purse bids for the Groves match up, and there were also these rumours with getting Pavlik in the ring. So looks like it is a big fight next for Cookys cousin.

I'd love to see Booth fuck this one up as well. Then he can play spin doctor for Haye AND Groves in explaining why neither can close the biggest possible fights they presently have on the table.

Groves vs De Gale is the biggest mismatch since that suburban dog in it's kennel vs mummy T-Rex.

Groves is gonna get mashed up like mash potato.
Even on the Ringside episode ft George, he looked a shivering wreck when watching a clip of James slagging him off.

Apparently Booth tried to get the purse bids delayed or something, asking the British Boxing Board of Control, but they denied his demand. He's a squirming little cunt, Booth.

George Groves might just be the worst smacktalker in boxing history

JAMES DeGALE has blasted back at George Groves for attacking him in a YouTube video.
Commonwealth champion Groves aired his views online earlier this month, criticising both DeGale and his trainer Jim McDonnell.

But unbeaten Chunky, who returns to action against Carl Dilks on Saturday, is in no mood to take his rival's outburst on the chin.

DeGale, 24, fumed: "What a moron. I don't know who is feeding the geezer this s***.

"This ain't the George I knew. He was a quiet, little ugly kid that lived in my shadow when we were amateurs.

VERBAL SPARRING ... George Groves made his feelings clear online
"Now he's got this new confidence, an aura, I don't know what it is.

"The video he did, it's like he was reading from something. He had it all planned.

"But he's a very weird kid and I just don't get it. They obviously sat at home and thought up this fantastic name, James 'destined to fail' DeGale.

"He's the ugliest kid ever and I really can't work out why he's done this. I don't really even want to waste oxygen on him.

"The geezer's laughable. By the end of the video I was laughing, it was just funny."

Groves, 22, insists DeGale's bout with Dilks at Birmingham's LG Arena should not be an eliminator for the British title.

The Saint also used his video to aim a verbal shot at current British champion Paul Smith, who is friends with DeGale.

But the Olympic gold medallist was even more unimpressed when Groves slammed McDonnell.

DeGale added: "George was sitting there coating every British super-middleweight around.

"He has trained with Jim before and what he said was totally disrespectful. He's been advised to say these things by silly, silly people.

"Jim's been there and done it. He's boxed two Hall of Famers and was one of Britain's best. How dare the silly ginger kid disrespect him?

"Why is he talking nonsense? Who has he fought? OK, he fought Charles Adamu who was the worst Commonwealth champion I've ever seen.

"Other than that, who else has he boxed? Seriously. I don't know where he thinks he's going but don't worry, the time will come when I shut him up.

"I'm the golden boy and everyone wants to fight me. They're living off my name to get their payday."

I respect Xplosives opinion. Obviously it's wrong, but I respect it. He always holds his hands up and admits when he's got it wrong so it's cool. Though I thought he would have got tired of doing that now.

Also, DeGale CLEARLY is better than Lemieux, which makes that statement even more bizarre

Agreed. Booth knows what he's doing though, they're opportunists. Theyll make their excuses, avoid the fight, and big up Georgies whole career off that amateur win. The boxing fraternity are well accustomed to how they go about their business now.

I had a class in psychology and I stated something along the lines of "I'm postive on a small-scale in the sense that I am helpful to friends or family and I value them, but in the grand scheme I just think the rest of the world is screwed and I don't believe in it or have any faith in it" ... the teacher, knowing my ethnicity, laughed and said "hold on, isnt that the definition of an Irishman?"
