Clottey and Quintana will box 10 rounds. The fight will be televised by HBO before world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik and challenger Paul Williams get into the ring. Clottey has a record of 35-3, 21 KOs. Quintana’s record is 26-2, 20 KOs. Bob Arum made the announcement today. Clottey is promoted by Top Rank. Quintana is handled by DiBella Entertainment. The Dec. 5 title card is hosted by Caesars Atlantic City. “This is the most important fight in the careers of Clottey and Quintana. tough fight to pick....I go w/ Clottey by decision. Quintana is too on/off fighter..one fight he outbox/outfight the bigger Joel Julio then gets pounded by Cotto.....outbox/outfights Williams ears off then in the immediate rematch got KO in 1 round.... Quintana likes to punch with his opponent or counter immediately after they throw..against Clottey that is going to be tough because he hides behind his forearm and gloves...
Clottey gunna pump his second consecutive Puerto Rican,.. the PR killer is back so soon for another feast!.
The only drama is what excuses Clottey will come up with when he tries to quit and what injury he will falsely state occurred.
Rooting for Quintana no doubt but I think Clottey is a better fighter. He should pull off a convincing UD.
