The Mancini from the Arguello fight vs the Chico from the first Castillo fight.... who wins? Mancini had a better chin, and was probably physically stronger, but Chico has the superior firepower and threw more crisper accurate shots. Neither could spell the word defense, and both have all the heart in the world. It would most certainly be a war, who comes out on top?

Corrales knocks him out. At 135, he's every bit the puncher Arguello was. And he's a superior inside fighter, which woud've been key when you consider that Mancini's only success against Arguello came when he was able to get inside and smother Arguello's shots.

Still, the Mancini who fought Arguello was a little green if you ask me. The Mancini of a year later or so, with the added experience, would've been a tougher fight. Still, my pick is Corrales.

I definitely take Mancini here. On points or a late TKO. He was really too quick for Corrales and would tear him apart inside and out...while surviving a few big scares along the way.

Diego wasn't Alexis Arguello, and he needed the kind of time Diego simply wouldn't have, to finish off Boom Boom.

Mancini by late tko..in a brutal fight...similar to his fight with Arguello..difference is that Corrales isn't a master like Arguello in the ring and will lose rounds early to Mancini activity...Corrales hitting the canvas a few times...
