Floyd doesn't like pressure. If Cotto can handle his potshots, I think he runs down Floyd.

Floyd's 30 and his legs aren't going to be the same as they were four or five years ago. I have the feeling that the DLH fight is equivalent to Roy Jones' fight with Julio Gonzalez. That was the first fight I saw slippage in Roy (Donnybrook and I said as much after that fight).

I'm thinking the same is true for Floyd. Plus, by the time he and Cotto would see each other, it wouldn't be until 2009 and Floyd would be 31.

 

Pressure is the key! I cant wait to see Hatton/Floyd! Hatton is going to be all over Floyd. It will be interesting. Floyd may have to fight to win it.

 

I also think Floyd's defense isn't best suited for Cotto's style. He's too passive nowadays, and the fact that he throws one shot at a time isn't the best way to keep Cotto off him. With all his talent, he could very well win, and in fact he should be the favourite if they ever fight, but I think Cotto has the kind of style to really trouble him. Even though I talk shit, I think Shane is a more difficult style for Cotto because of his combination of agression, speed and toughness...
