I am a big fan of Marg.. and Cotto as well..

I was thinking that this would be a good fight but that Cotto will bust him up and stop him mid/late

now I REALLY think that.. after re-watching the Cotto-Gomez and the Cintron-Marg fight..

not that their opponents meant too much but DAM MArg is slow!! He throws a WIDE SLOW LOOPing right hand over and over and over..
in contrast to Cotto who really throws a nice straigh right hand and throws it fast..
Cotto really has some good handspeed and I think Cotto is gonna Dominate and stop Marge around 5 or 6 and that's beacsue Marg has a chin!

I can see why Cotto is the favorite but how will Cotto handle that constant barrage from Margarito. It's one of the most intriguing fights for sure. I can't wait to see it.

Damn, I am a little nervous now too.

I was 100% sure Cotto would win until this.

    you know Caligula..

I was watching it last night and I realized that my perception of Marg was different from reality when I really studied his fight with Cintron.

granted he has a great chin and great will, but I always though of him as such pressure and as you put it "constant barrage" but in that cintron fight he looked Slow as hell and his looping right hand really looks bad.. if it lands it could do damage I guess but Cotto has just much much better punching form, and speed as well

I don't see Marg landing somthing on Cotto that will stop him.. but with Cotto's speed and accurucy I don't think Marg can stand up to him over the course of a fight

I did.. well.. I really didn't but I hoped:lol: but I have become a fan.. I usually am hard on some guys early on.. when the hype machines start but I have come around on Cotto..

Margarito makes up for his slow hands with non-stop combinations and awkward angles. He'll have no trouble finding Cotto, and his height advantage will be a big factor in combating Cotto's superior hand-speed and technique.

Cotto is in tough. That's for sure. This will no doubt be the toughest fight of his career and there's certainly no guarantee that Cotto wins it. And if he does, he'll deserve a lot of credit for having done so.

this will be Cotto's real break out fight.. not that he is not already "Broken out to us.." but to casual fans.. this will make Floyd-Cotto a talked about fight and it will happen.

    Floyd-Cotto is gonna be great
