Who wins and why? Can Cotto stay away from Hatton's wrestling techniques?

i'd favor cotto now, but a few years back when they were both at 140, i would've picked hatton to win a decision.

Disagree, not an entertaining fight Cotto really Busts up Ricky in a very 1 sided afair after the first round. Ricky retires on the stool or just gets flatened about 6 rounds into.

Hatton looked far from fearsome in his two fights at welter. Cotto is bigger, and harder hitting than both Mayweather and Collazo.

I don't see Hatton doing very well.

This fight would have been very interesting at 140 3-4 years ago.

 

Cotto would've beaten him at 140 also. It woulda been similar to Cotto's fight with Abdulaev.

Quite possibly, but i wouldn't consider that a lock. The weight-drained Cotto could have a lot of problems against someone who brings the energy that Hatton does.

I always favored MIGUEL COTTO......but Miguel last 6months-1 year at 140..he was very weak...maybe at that time Hatton could've taken him....


but at 147...Cotto takes more punishment than Mayweather did vs. Hatton...but gives Ricky Hatton a career ending beating...

 

Makes Mayweather look bad.....Cotto dishing out alot more pain..and taking them out earlier...at least for Judah/Sosa....
