Cotto vs. Margarito could take place in Vegas....with 8 ounce gloves.

According to Steve Kim. Apparently, Arum met with the NSAC today and they agreed to wave the glove rule for this fight. Thoughts?

Maybe it's just me... and probably that poster who used to always get teased about his dislike for 10 ounce gloves in the lower weight classes, but I think 10 ounce gloves on junior welterweights and welterweights is fucking gay.

On another note, I'm sure if it comes off, that means Marg will have more fans in the house than he would if it was on the East Coast. It'll be interesting to see how many Ricans show up.

Fights in Vegas, 140 and up call for 10 ounce gloves, while other states start at 154. The rule went into effect after the death of Leavander Johnson.

margarito don't give a fuck if the gloves are 8 or 10. nevada commission shows little credibility by waving their rule for one fight because it is lucrative to the state.
