Of the 90s trio I feel like Cotto matches up best against DLH. He definitely wouldnt beat Oscar, but he'd give a good account in a losing effort. I think Cotto gets hammered by Quartey and laid out by Trinidad.
Yeah. He’d convincingly lose to Whitaker as well. I would take prime Mosley over him and Forrest is a bad match up for him too.
I guess I'm the lone dissenter who would favor Cotto in this? With Cotto, you have a surefire HoFer who proved his mettle in tough wins against the likes of Mosley, Mayorga, and Margarito. With Quartey, you have a fighter who looked good against a certain level of competition, but fought tentatively and came up short in his three biggest fights - which, probably not coincidentally, also happen to be against the three biggest punchers he ever fought. In short, I wouldn't trust how Quartey responds to feeling Cotto's power - he may look to fight off the back foot and just jab his way to a decision, which backfired for him against Lopez and DLH.
