I can't lie, this made me laugh. I like trash talking Crawford. The optics certainly appear right now that Bud wants the fight more than Spence does.

It's so obviously now or never for these two to fight each other if either of them wants to ever be considered great. Not sure that idea bothers either of them though.

Crawford is gonna need to do more trash talking if he really wants this fight with Spence made. At this point Crawford vs Spence is becoming less and less interesting the longer they wait it out. It's now or never. I hope to God they finally make this happen for 2022.

At Spence's next fight, Crawford needs to get in the ring and call him out to his face. If Crawford wants it so bad he has to do more to get under Spence's skin.

Agreed. Call them out to their face and get noticed. It was one of the things that got on my nerves during all the Mayweather-Pacquiao drama, if Pac had just gone to a Mayweather fight and sat ringside or something there would have been a much bigger chance of the fight being made.

How did that work out for Andrade? I'd love to see these two fight. The Porter vs Crawford fight was fun.

I think Errol is losing the fire. I get the sense that he’s comfortable not having the fight whereas Crawford comes off like he really wants it. I don’t think he’s SCARED of Bud, but I do think he’s a bit unsure of himself in this fight.

I think Errol will probably ride off into the sunset within the next couple years. He’s made big money and he had a near fatal car accident and a detached retina which took away the Pacquiao fight. I think he doesn’t want it as much as he used to. The eye of the tiger is gone.

No offense to whoever started this thread. But when I read the title I thought to myself "oh fuck here we go again with the he said she said crap". We've been talking about this fight for so long at this point I don't give a fuck. I'm almost rooting for Ennis or Ortiz to upset Crawford or Spence and ruin a future fight between them. Does anyone think this fight will take place when their old and faded like the Pacquio vs Mayweather? It sure seems like it.

i think the threat of guys like ortiz and ennis make this fight more likely. problem is, neither of these guys are blockbuster stars. so the money might not be there

Pressure is on full now. It looks like Ennis has become the mandatory for the IBF belt, and Ugas was denied a fight with Errol by the WBA.

If Spence really is trying to duck, he ain’t gonna be able to do it much longer.

Financially, Crawford Makes the MOST Sense...

Losing the Pac Payday was DEVASTATING...Spence Takes Care of His Money, But Pac was a GENERATIONAL WEALTH Type of Payday, Securing Spence's Kids, Kids, Kids, Kids for Life...

Spence-Crawford ISN'T Nearly as Lucrative as Pac Would've Been, But it's the Next Best Payday for Spence...But Also the Most DANGEROUS Fight for Him, Obviously...

The Walls Certainly Seem to Be Closing In Around Spence, So to Speak...Verg and Boots Will Be Mandatory Defenses Before Looooooong...Ugas is Occupied, So Spence Can't Unify...

Crawford's Really the ONLY Option, Financially...

I know it's a totally different situation but I get the feeling the Spence vs Crawford fight will turn out the same way as the Mosley vs Forrest fight. Both fights took place in the WW division, both Champions. One fighter came in as the clear favorite (Mosley) and seen as the more talented vs Forrest who had not looked that impressive prior to the Mosley fight same as Spence. But that lanky frame and style of Forrest gave the shorter more explosive power puncher (Mosley) all kinds of trouble. I think everyone is counting Spence out because of factors outside the ring(Car crash, eye injury, partying) but styles make fights and I think he creates major problems for Crawford and even stops him. That's my two cents.

Not a bad fight, but it's a pity that spence-crawford probably will never happen

The Winner of Spence-Ugas is 3-Belt Welterweight Champion; Crawford is the ONLY Other Fight to Make After That:Dont:...

Your LACK of Optimism is Understandable, But Even the Sanctioning Bodies WON'T Stand in the Way of What Would Be the Most LUCRATIVE Fight to Be Made @ '47...

Really??? Stanoisis vs Butaev is a very good matchup.

Only I had hoped Boots would be fighting Butaev.

This DOES Suck for Boots Ennis Though…

Jamal James Seemed Receptive of a Boots Bout, But he Lost to Butaev…James Would’ve Gotten the Shit Beaten Out of Him Regardless, But There’s ZERO Incentive to Face Boots Now…

These MFs are scared shitless of Boots it seems. It looks like he's got the entire 147 hesitant.

Bud essentially said that Boots is next up after he (Bud) retires, so Bud already knows the deal.

Ennis career kinda reminds me of Mosley. lost in the trials and didnt get the opportunity to shine in the olympics. then signed to some shitty rinky dink manager /promoter who wasnt able to position him properly for a title shot. now hes out from under that deal and with Cameron Dunkin. who you would think would be able to put him in a better position to get big fight opportunities. it sure hasnt happened yet.

It seems to me that even Vergil Ortiz isn’t exactly eager to get in there with Boots.
