I agree with @Azazel. Its doubtful Bud is making buku bucks to fight this nobody. Doubtful it’s more than what he would have made against Spence regardless how much he was being low balled.

 

And at 35, Crawford doesn't have time on his side either. He's at the tail end of his career and basically has no meaningful win (worthy of a p4p ''great'' fighter). Sad because I like the dog he displayed in his recent fights but his career is a huge disappointment. Very unambitious, cut from the same cloth as Andrande

I agree with this for the most part. Both Spence and Bud have shown they are not pussies. Highly doubt either one is scared to fight each other in the sense regular folks like you and I would be scared to get in the ring with them. But I do think they know somebody's 0 got to go. They may be content avoiding each other(to keep their undefeated record and legacy intact) and keep fighting bums or no hopers like the guy Bud is fighting next. Just fear of losing marketability.
