Oleg aged that fight. He became old. When the fight started the first thing I noticed, after I consumated a bet with Caligula (I should have heeded my observation:doh:) was that Oleg got old. Sam looked slow and inept as usual. Whe Oleg started to tag him it was a bit surreal to me.... I could see the punches coming from both guys, make a few sandwiches and yell at my kids before they landed..... The satelite guys were scrambling, was my feed bad? :dunno:.

What happened that fight is Oleg became old. I thought he had a little left I was wrong, sorry brother Reed, didn't mean to drag you in on this mess. Peter will be KO'ed by the first guy who is not inept enough to stand in front of him.... He has not looked anywhere near as good and as physically able as he did the second Toney fight.

I would pick David Haye against him right now. The one caveat being if Peter ever decides to seriously train for a fight again. If the Peter that showed up for the second Toney fight is around.... the guy is talented and could be a factor.

I certainly think age and inactivity played a part in this fight. Also, Maskaev did postpone the date last time due to a back injury.

This fight was just horrible to watch. With Klitschko-Ibragimov, it wasn't entertaining but at least you could tell there was some talent and ability in the ring.

Peter-Maskaev looked like a bad toughman competition.

Oleg has been old for years now. Oleg has decent skills, but he always is TERRIBLE under pressure. Whenever he gets rocked, he puts down his hands and lets his opponent tee off. I know that Oleg's title reign would be short lived.

Didn't pick for this fight but I hope you guys weren't picking Oleg after him beating Rahman. Rahman is utter garbage and this fight should have been a toss up as soon as Peter had trouble beating McCline. Oleg fights better when he goes for broke and this fight he was too concerned with not getting hit and trying to outbox Peter.

It also would have helped his cause to at least make an attempt to clinch the guy who just hurt him. :dunno:

I didn't think the fight was that bad because there was some good punches being landed.
