Given Terence Crawford’s masterclass win to unify the world welterweight title against Errol Spence and coming only days after Naoya Inoue’s domination of Stephen Fulton, what does your current p4p top 10 look like?
#1. Terence Crawford #2. Naoya Inoue #3. Oleksandr Usyk #4. Dmitry Bivol #5. Teofimo Lopez #6. Fransisco Estrada #7. Devin Haney #8. Shakur Stevenson #9. Canelo Alvarez #10. Errol Spence Jr. I dunno how much I'd be willing to argue any places between five and ten. I'm pretty confident in the top four though.
Usyk has a case, if you consider p4p career accomplishment wise and not how good he is in his division
How can Usyk be #3, since he isn't even the best of his own division and certainly has not proven it?
Chill. I am just asking a question cos I want to understand the logic. I thought that was pretty much the point of discussion forums. If you, or George, or The Ring, or anybody can explain this, I am all ears
It's very simple. I do believe Usyk is the best heavyweight in the world right now. How can he prove it? That pussy ass bitch rather fight an MMA fighter.
Ok, fair enough. I believe not everyone would rate the hw division nor beating Joshua that high, but since you do, that's cool
It's hard for me to make a P4P list because I believe that Ennis is among the 10 best fighters in the world currently, but because he doesn't have the resume to back it yet, can't put him on the list just yet. It's kinda like 2015, when it was apparent then that Spence was one of the 10 best fighters in the world, but didn't have the resume yet for P4P inclusion.
Thats why i said depend on how you rank the p4p. At hw, usyk doesnt belong near the top 3 p4p, since i dont think he's tje best (far from it) .But if you list them according to their accomplishment, hes up there
I'm shocked GC put Haney and Stevenson above Canelo and tbh I'm not even sure Canelo is top 10 at this point. And as far as Usyk yeah him beating Fury is not happening and I'll bet anyone money on that if it ever happen. Please I hope I have plenty of takers.
It's really simple. Canelo lost, and hasn't done anything since losing. Haney has become undisputed and 'beat' Loma. And Shakur has dominated everyone he's faced so far.
