I think Curry was better and wins a competitive decision. Maybe not quite Toney-McCallum 1, but it would be a fight that the purists love for the great skill level shown.
It's a tough ask for any cute technician or pure boxer type to beat Curry imo. It still gets underegged these days how brilliant he was in his prime to me, mainly because of how alarming his sudden decline was. But that type of combined hand speed, power, timing, form/technique, accuracy and smart application when allied with the ability to comfortably mete it all out on the front foot is a nightmare for any fighter who can't just relentlessly push you backwards one way or another. Especially if like Curry you're also defensively sharp and a skilled infighter.
