While his Dancing With the Stars line was funny, the whole Boxing vs MMA argument is played out by both sides. I understand Dana has a product to sell, but still, it's getting old.

Especially with UFC 103 being such a lousy card. Hell, I think the TUF 10 finale in December is a better card than 103, and that's on Spike.

His point about big fights in boxing not happening has some validity....i think it was worse a few years ago, and competition from the UFC has probably helped.

But lets not pretend that every UFC fan's wishes are granted by Dana....just as boxing politics interfere with making the big fights happen, the Fedor saga showed the same does exist on some level in MMA. And Dana has got a very tough task putting Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida in the same cage.

But, hey why am i complaining?....we have Franklin-Belfort to look forward to, and that was on the top of every fan's wishlist!

Again I ask, what's wrong with that? Why is Arum trying to make it seem like having a white fan base is a bad thing? Hockey's fan base is overwhelmingly white. In fact, I can only think of one black friend who likes hockey. Basketball's fan base is mostly black. I can't think of any of my black friends that don't like basketball.

The most obvious response to that is every serious boxing fan knows exactly who Marquez is, and have a lot of respect for him, even though they know he is undersized in this match.

Who is he trying to fool? Well, stupid MMA fans I guess.

I can agree with him on one thing though, I don't like Floyd's boring, safety first fighting style, and I don't like the modern trend of "fighting not to lose" rather than fighting to win (to protect that precious "0" and future paydays I guess).

But hey, that exists to an extent even in MMA, countless times I've been bored stupid by MMA fighters laying and praying, dry humping etc, it's the same thing.
