    .....

What's the big deal? He was ragging on Fedor about his absolutely SHITTY recent opposition. Dana is correct in his observation that Fedor seems to like fighting garbage.:dunno:

Everyone else coming from Pride seems to be making good money in the UFC. What were the terms of this "slave contract" ? Or do you not even know?

He wouldn't let Fedor participate in his own national combat sport in which Fedor is the reigning champ and fights in front of the Russian Prime Minister. That was a big sticking point.

If it is anything like Couture's contract, then he wouldn't be allowed to leave the UFC until he loses. That's a lifetime contract!

You wish I didn't lol I wouldn't say it if I didn't know anything about it,stop being such a douche man.........anyway,the contract UFC had offered Fedor was hardly what I'd call an opportunity. The pay clause capped at a flat rate, with no room for renegotiation after contract. If Fedor wins the 4 fights he would have to stay on at the same pay rate. They also would have assumed all rights to his image, etc which is already a established brand internationally and you can also add what BR mentioned above me.

And here's a quote from FEDOR why he turned it down.

"Basically I can't leave undefeated(Cant leave UFC unless he loses a fight). I can't give interviews, appear in films or advertising. I don't have the right to do anything without the UFC's agreement. I could do nothing without the OK from the UFC. I didn't have the right to compete in combat sambo competition. It's my national sport. It's the Russian sport, which in his time our president competed in, and I no longer have the right to do so. There were many such clauses; the contract was 18 pages in length. It was written in such a way that I had absolutely no rights while the UFC could at any moment, if something didn't suit them, tear up the agreement. We worked with lawyers who told us that it was patently impossible to sign such a document." Fedor Emeliananko

    Like I said ............SLAVE CONTRACT!!!

    Look.

Fedor wasn't enticed by the contract, whatever the terms were.....and now Dana White talks shit about him.

That isn't a good way to lure or entice someone your way.

    White is a prick.

It reminds me of a little kid who couldn't get the toy that he wanted,so now he's saying the toy sucked anyway:lol:

All joking aside,Dana is a "promoter" who has to promote his!!! fighters under contract.......but,he can do that without bashing other fighters,he makes Vince McMahan look like a class act:lol: He's a prime example of what the UFC is about,no respect for fighter whatsover they think paying them and robbing them of there right to pursue other interest on there free time is good enough but its not.I expect the established stars to jump ship once there contracts are up though the fighters that are up and coming will still sign with them.
