I would take Breland with no hesitation whatsoever. Danny did fuck all at 147. Lost to every good welterweight he faced. No reason to believe he could beat Breland. He would never get past Breland's jab. Mark would put enough hurt on him that Cherry would be content to just stay outside and get outboxed.
I would also add that Danny at 147 got outboxed and got a gift over Lamont Peterson. He is not beating Mark Breland.
I didn't originate it. The boxing community as a whole started calling him Cherry Garcia when he went through his long stretch of fighting cherry picked opponents following the Matthysse win.
