How does Morales go about this? Obviously if he gets caught up in the euphoria of being able to tag Lopez so easily (as many did) he puts himself in danger of being hit back by the preposterously deadly right hand of "Little Red" and could conceivably find himself badly hurt and in grave danger... Does Morales have the discipline to take his time here and box a bit more cautiously? or does he get caught up in the offensive opportunities and give Lopez his chance to turn the fight? We will say 12 rounds for this one... Morales, the more skillful man, is a clear favorite, but Lopez, far more powerful, is a dangerous underdog Have at it
Great fight. Morales at his best edges it in a war. It should be noted as well that Morales would be the bigger man, here.
Morales would win. Just a better fighter, and Lopez doesn't have such immense firepower he'd KO someone as tough as Erik. Even if Erik got hurt by a right hand, he'd fight through it. He's not getting taken out by one punch. I do like Lopez though, and it would be a good fight.
Agree with the consensus A great war here, Morales gets rocked a few times but fights through it and throws and lands more shots en route to a decision in a classic
Lopez would be worth betting on at the right odds. I fancy he just might swing this upset. An inferior fighter, yes, but there are some nice tie-ins here to compliment his chances.
