Everybody is talking so much about the HBO April 12th doubleheader, that I think people are forgetting about this card! Which in fact, might be better than the HBO card. At least neither one of these fights is a mismatch, like Cotto-Gomez is. Lets get some predictions.

For Dawson-Johnson, I pick Bad Chad by clear UD. Ole man Johnson will have his moments, but I think Dawson is too young, fast, and gifted for Johnson at this point. Dawson by 9-3 UD.

Tarver-Woods, I think Tyrone Biggums will win by very close, possibly even bullshit decision. Unless he knocks Woods out, I think its gonna be a very close one. Hell Woods might even pull it off.

    Thoughts?

Dawson and Tarver. I really don't give Woods much chance to beat Tarver. Tarver is a much better fighter.

I think Johnson is too slow for Dawson to make it competitive. I expect Dawson to win a decision.

I like Dawson and Woods, both on points, and both by a fairly wide margin.

He's too active. If he can force a pace on Tarver, who I think is done, he should win most of the rounds.

I could see Woods walking into a big left or two. Or three or four. Don't know how many he can withstand but if he can handle it, the fight's his.

I'm not too sure about Dawson-Johnson yet. This is the old man's last shot - it's gonna be a helluva fight.

You put your house on Johnson????? I give him about a 15% chance, which isn't much of a chance at all. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Glen Johnson. He's just fighting a younger, fresher guy who can really fight.

Both Dawson and Tarver win in grueling fights, with Tarver winning a controversial decision and Dawson winning a close, but clear one.

Edit: Damn just checked the other predictions and I definitely agree that I think that Tarver will somehow get a BS decision in order to setup the fight between Tarver and Dawson.

Tarvers defence is undererated. If RJJ had problems hitting Tarver then Woods will have problems. Tarver has problems with skilled boxers, RJ, Harding and Hopkins. Woods is a brawler with average defence. If he can take Tarvers power then he will just get hit with it for 12 rounds.

Woods by unanimous decision, though Roy's bitch is irrelevant with Chad Dawson in the same division, I expect Chad to burn Johnson alive in five.

Come on you guys! Glen Johnson ain't getting stoped in five rounds by nobody! Dawson is a talent but has holes in his defense and runs out of gas. Glen is always on the gas and has heavy hands. So the fight goes the distance with a Dawson win and is a late KO if Johnson wins. (It will be). I going to clean up on this! WOW Floyd just dropped Big Show!, and yall said he had no power. haha

I agree with the Canadians, Dawson and Woods, although I hope Tarver can pull out another victory.

Yeah, could see that happening. But I don't think Tarver takes well to pressure. He tends to go into a shell and throw wild shots. Sometimes those shots will catch you. I think Woods is going to walk into some jarring lefts early on. If he can take them and also continue to back Tarver up, he could win a decision. If not...

Aww Oates, Glen is old and war-torn, and Dawson is youthful, athletic and is showing impressive signs of p4p talent, apparently I hear Glen has regressed to the extent where he was reeling and hanging on for dear life verses fucken Woods, and I mean,..that's s sign to perhaps hang them up because Woods quite frankly, is a piss poor belt holder.

By the way, justice has been served for that foul mistreatment you recieved in western Australia, it may have only been 3 rounds of rabbit punches where the centre of the ring constituted a neutral corner, but your insidious attack and pressure, seems to have shortenned Danny's career...[IMG]

Tarver also just had serious problems with Elvir Muriqi.

    Woods UD.
