Anyone sign up for this Fight Sport service? Says they will show 70 fight nights a year (includes MMA though). Upcoming is Joshua/Povetkin, J. Vargas/Dullorme and Saunders/Andrade.

SRL and Brian Kenny will be commentators.

$9.99/ month. Seems steep to me.

HBO is like $12 and besides boxing, they have programming. It's steep for what it is.

Following a big PPV fight that was actually crowd pleasing, it woulda been nice if AJ-Povetkin was shown on HBO or Showtime this coming Saturday. It would continue what's been a good month for boxing.

As it stands, like 15 people are gonna be tuned in to watch. It's not like DAZN's been well promoted.

THIS will be the death of boxing.

If at least half of the 70 fight nights are actual live boxing, it will be worth it. But something tells me that won't be the case (hope I'm wrong).

That's a shit announcing team also.

Brian Kenny is annoying, and Ray Leonard just shows up for checks, spewing nothing but cliches and platitudes.

Does it include PPV fights that you'd normally pay for separately?
Joshua x Povetkin will be PPV surely?

If the winner is highly in doubt, hbo puts it on PPV (unless the fighters are not well-known). But i don't expect DAZN to stray from this approach. They're not going to show GGG/Canelo-type fights.

If hbo had Joshua under contract, a fight against Povetkin would generally be non-ppv though.

So to reiterate: if top names and winner in doubt: ppv. If not top name or winner not in doubt: non-ppv.

So DAZN is going to be playing in the same space as non-ppv hbo. But probably have even worse names on average (although maybe the matchups will be better). Andrade/Saunders is an excellent matchup, for example. If that's a sign of things to come, it probably is worth it. But hbo too has good ones now and then with most being shyte.

Any idea if there is a way to record DAZN? Will they just have old fights available?

"death of boxing" Xplosive, you should cut an inch off of your pecker for that.
