Why did he move down to lightweight? I guess he saw Koschek get handled by St. Pierre and Alves after beating him. That's too bad. I think he'll be drained and get stopped. He will probably get by Stevenson in a war.

He won't get anywhere at 170 because he'll have to fight the St Pierre's,Alves and Fitch's of the division to get the title shot and he's just to small for them

I think he will have problems at 155.

I think the move was very smart on his part, in fact if Koshchek could make the move I think it would be smart for him as well. BYG is on the money, I don't think either will go past top 5 at WW. Just too small. With good training and weight management they can keep their weight hovering around 160-165 and lose the rest in the two weeks leading up to a fight. It is definitely not out of reason. Personally, I think Diego has somewhat plateaued where as Koshchek is only getting better. Both can make noise at 155, but Diego will get stopped by most in the top 5 of Lightweight. I would take Penn, Sherk, and Florian for sure over Diego. I think he would have close fights with many including Stevenson, who I am not sure Diego will get past as well. I think Koschek has the chance to beat anyone at LW. Even Penn. Wouldn't pick him over Penn, but would not be suprised to see him get the win as well.

I would take Penn over him.....not Sherk or Kenny.

Oh wait,....didn't we see Diego simply annihalate Kenny before? I know Florian has gotten way better....but Kenny's forte' is BJJ, and so is Diego's. Same styles, and Diego is more powerful.
